About The Game

Tales and Tactics Set 2 World Tour brings the second large content set to the roguelike strategy game from Table 9 Studio, published by Yogscast Games. The game mixes autobattler combat with squad building in a bright, colorful world, and this release carries the tournament journey further along the World Tour route.

The core loop is simple to learn and hard to exhaust. You gather heroes, equip them with items, and shape a squad before sending it into automatic battles against the champions of the Grand Tournament. Positioning and team composition matter more than reflexes, since fights play out on their own once they start. Each run is different, and a failed attempt still moves you forward. There is always one more combination to test.

A mastery system works in the background of every session. The more you play, the more characters, units and options open up, and the difficulty grows with you at your own pace. New tools change how the next run feels, so the game keeps offering fresh combinations long after the first hours. Unlocks arrive steadily and never feel forced.

The project grew out of the experience the studio gathered while creating a well received mod for Slay the Spire, and the influence shows in the structure of the runs. At the same time the art direction goes the other way. Instead of a dark palette the world looks bright, clean and friendly, which makes long sessions easier on the eyes. The overall tone stays light even when battles get tense.

This set is aimed at players who already enjoy squad based tactics and deck style progression. It rewards planning, experimentation and the willingness to rebuild a team from scratch when the tournament demands it. Set 2 World Tour keeps the format that worked and pushes it further. Nothing here asks for speed, only good decisions.
