About The Game

Beneath a sun scorched wasteland, the tunnels still hold what people left behind. GRAIN ROT is a cooperative survival horror from Beck & Branch Games, published by Neem Interactive, built around risky raids into underground labyrinths and the slow growth of a safe camp on the surface.

Each run sends a team of survivors into unpredictable tunnels with one goal: take what is valuable and get out before the routes close behind you. The environment itself falls apart as you move, and twisted creatures hunt for any sound and light. Speed matters, but so does greed, because leaving too early means coming back empty handed.

The strangest twist concerns the bodies themselves. Instead of flesh and blood, the characters inhabit fragile wooden mannequins, and they can switch shells right during a raid. A broken body is not the end of the run, only a change of plan, which turns every loss into a moment of improvisation.

Between raids the surface camp grows. You expand its territory, attract merchants and turn scavenged goods into progress. This building layer gives each dangerous trip a purpose beyond survival, since everything you carry home strengthens the settlement and opens new options for the next descent. The camp is your proof that the surface still belongs to the living.

A constant threat of infection hangs over every decision. It pushes squads to weigh risks carefully and keeps even experienced crews tense. The game asks players to cooperate closely, divide roles and trust each other in corridors that never stay the same twice. One careless step can undo hours of careful planning.
