About The Game

High Times is a casual indie simulation where you manage The Hotbox, a bakery that offers mood-boosting baked goods to customers struggling with emotional issues. Your job is to listen to their concerns and serve appropriate emotional doughnuts whether for courage, happiness, or something else entirely to help them overcome their personal struggles and mend their relationships. The gameplay combines shop management elements such as baking, serving orders, collecting tips, unlocking tools, and discovering new recipes with a storyline focused on emotional storytelling.

You'll interact with over 30 customers and six characters with whom you can romance, and your doughnut choices and decisions will lead to different relationship outcomes and endings specific to each character. The game features full English voice acting from talents like LilyPichu and Johnny Yong Bosch, a customizable protagonist, and over 70 dynamic comic style illustrations. It's billed as a "reconciliation simulator" in which you can explore themes of healing past traumas and rekindling old feelings. The visuals utilize a vibrant, animated comic-style aesthetic, and the soundtrack blends rock, city pop, and lo fi. Developed by Yangyang Mobile, the game is essentially a therapy simulator wrapped in the mechanics of a donut shop, where emotional intelligence matters more than culinary skill.
