SkyChart Airline Executive - inspired by Aerobiz. Build a global aviation empire in 90 years of aviation history. Open routes between 496 real cities, buy or rent 66 historic planes, beat 35 competitive bosses and survive the Great Depression, oil shocks, September 11 and COVID. You are the general director. Starting with a pair of biplanes and big dreams, you are building a world-class airline from 1930 to 2020. Open routes, buy and rent planes, customize cabin classes, invest in airports, hire top managers and destroy competitors — and the real history of the 20th century unfolds around you. SkyChart Airline Executive is a deep management simulator inspired by the classic Aerobiz series, reimagined from the ground up: modern design, retro-neon aesthetics and systems in which you can lose your entire weekend.

Play through four distinct chapters of airline history, each with unique aircraft, economics, and challenges:

• Dawn of Flight (1930–1950) - Biplanes, flying boats, and the shadow of World War II. Connect the continents before the world tears itself apart.
• The Jet Age (1955–1975) - The 707 rewrites everything. Dominate the transatlantic corridor and race your rivals across the globe.
• The Modern Era (1980–2000) - Deregulation, oil crises, and cutthroat competition. Only the efficient survive.
• Supersonic Future (2000–2020) - Ultra-long-haul routes, mega-hubs, and the A380 age. Build an empire that spans every continent - then survive COVID.
• The Green Frontier (2020-2040) - Post-pandemic recovery, sustainable aviation mandates, hydrogen demonstrators, and electric regional commuters. Build a fleet for a carbon-conscious world.

Invest in hotels, theme parks, and infrastructure to boost demand. Upgrade airport hubs to dominate entire regions.

196 HISTORICAL AIRCRAFT

Fly the planes that made history. The DC 3, 707, 747, A380, 787, and more each with historically accurate stats, retirement dates, and operating costs. Aircraft age realistically: old planes cost more to run, draw fewer passengers, and depreciate on a real curve. Order new build aircraft on a realistic 1 9 month delivery backlog, lease for instant service, or store surplus frames in your hangar.

CABIN CLASS CONFIGURATION

Configure every route's seat mix: Economy, Premium Economy, Business, or First. Higher classes occupy more cabin space but earn 1.6× 4× the fare. Class availability is era gated First Class reappears in 1955, Business in 1960, Premium Economy in 1992 so strategy shifts as decades pass. Six one click templates (All Economy, Budget, Regional, Legacy, Premium, Luxury) or hand tune per route with the stepper UI. AI rivals pick strategies too and stick to them.

LIVE WEATHER SYSTEM

A Ventusky style weather map with animated storm cells (tropical round with eye, extratropical comma heads), jet streams, pressure isobars, and cloud shading. Storms drift on prevailing winds westerlies mid latitude, trade easterlies in the tropics and seed from real IBTrACS cyclone data. Route paths dynamically deviate around severe weather at FAA style distances, and your airplanes' animated tracks update every 8 seconds as storms move.

BUY, LEASE, OR SCRAP

Every aircraft decision matters. Buy planes outright and build equity, or lease them to preserve cash with flexible 1 year, 3 year, or 5 year terms. Store surplus aircraft in your hangar for reuse. Refurbish aging fleets to extend their service life. Sell at depreciated market value when it's time to move on. Your rivals make these same calculations.

OUTSMART YOUR RIVALS

Up to 35 AI controlled airlines compete for the same routes, slots, and passengers. Each picks one of four cabin strategies Budget (all economy), Regional (light premium), Legacy (full four class), or Premium (first heavy) and sticks to it, so the competitive landscape feels distinct. They price dynamically, expand into your territory, upgrade their fleets, and invest in hubs. Once per era, you can buy out a rival entirely absorbing their routes, slots, and infrastructure in one stroke.

HISTORY HAPPENS

190+ historical events and World Mega Events reshape the playing field. The Great Depression tanks demand. WWII closes entire regions. The 1973 oil crisis doubles fuel prices overnight. 9/11 grounds the industry. COVID 19 kills 93% of passenger demand (but cargo barely flinches). Earthquakes destroy airports. Volcanic ash clouds close European airspace. You adapt or you fold.

DEEP ECONOMICS

Every route's profit is calculated monthly from population, regional economics, seasonal demand, your reputation, competitor pricing, hub bonuses, diplomatic relations, fuel costs, aircraft condition, cabin mix, transfer passenger flows, and executive team bonuses. The Strategic Advisor scans all 122,760 possible city pairs (threaded, non blocking) to find your best opportunities. Quarterly reports track every dollar.

THREE GAME MODES

• Passengers — Fill seats. Maximize yield per passenger. The classic airline business.
• Cargo — Move freight. Win on price and reliability. Cargo barely flinches during pandemics.
• Combined — Passengers in the cabin, freight in the belly. Two revenue streams, one fleet.

Each mode unlocks after mastering the previous one.

Your chief flight inspector is a macaw with strong opinions. Casey narrates a 17 chapter, 134 step interactive tutorial covering everything from opening your first route to configuring cabin classes, managing weather diversions, and running a legacy carrier. Every in game changelog entry is written in Casey's voice he inspects rivets, files paperwork, and takes credit for every bug fix.
