About The Game

Drone Sector is a futuristic combat drone game that combines air support and tactical command of ground units. You pilot a drone inspired by the real-life AC-130 and MQ-9 Reaper, but set in a technologically advanced future where weaponry is even more destructive and missions more complex. From above, you escort your units through hostile territory, direct their path, help them avoid traps, and unleash all available firepower on the enemy at the right moment.

Each mission requires a balance between risk and reward. You direct ground teams to buildings and key locations to collect resources and research documents, but delay can cost the squad the enemy never sleeps, and losing soldiers is forever. Decide when to evacuate and when to stay a minute longer to secure valuable cargo. The enemy isn't defenseless either: anti-aircraft mounts detect your drone with radar, forcing you to quickly find suppressive measures or steer the vehicle away, firing off flares. Damage accumulates, and at a critical moment, you could crash to the ground.

Between sorties, you build up your base: upgrade the aircraft itself, develop ground units, set up ammunition production, and research new technologies. The arsenal is impressive: from rapid-fire autocannons and rocket pods to 150mm guns, glide bombs, and an experimental railgun. Cameras switch between normal, night, and thermal modes, and the drone itself can be elevated or lowered to escape blind spots behind buildings. There's a full-fledged career with progression and a separate sandbox mode, where all weapons are unlocked at once, allowing you to unleash an all-out barrage without regard for the economy.
