About The Game

Hell Maiden is a dark hybrid of card roguelike and horde survival, where the amnesiac protagonist Dante once again ascends from the depths of Limbo to the heavens. Accompanied by Virgil, the heroine battles hordes of demons, collecting fragments of her lost past. Instead of divine protection, the protagonist relies on the support of ancient poets trapped in the underworld. Each confrontation with monsters requires carefully crafting a battle deck consisting of weapon cards and modifiers. The process of building a battle arsenal is based on a combination of various elements:

• Equipment Modification – combining attack cards with modules changes the radius and type of damage.
• Rescue Ancient Thinkers – freeing Homer or Ovid unlocks passive skills.
• Unique Deck Building – combining spirit cards allows you to build a defense against the advancing hordes.
• Guardian Battles – defeating the Judge of Hell permanently unlocks rare abilities in your arsenal.
  

Hell Maiden visuals combine the aesthetics of retro anime from the late 20th century with modern 2D animation, set against a backdrop of picturesque hand-drawn scenery. The musical score enhances the oppressive atmosphere of the First Circle of Hell, and the memorable dialogue reveals unexpected facets of the familiar plot. The gameplay offers a fresh take on the classic work, transforming a literary journey into a tense tactical challenge.
