About The Game

Kingdom Loop is an indie strategy RPG in which humans and the undead wage war for the Holy Grail, the result of a failed prophecy: instead of ending death, the discovery of the Grail transformed the dead into hostile undead hordes. You choose one of eight heroes representing different factions (four humans and four undead) to travel the ring road surrounding the Grail Temple, building your kingdom step by step using a deck of cards you customize and expand. Each lap of the ring becomes increasingly challenging as enemies grow in power, forcing you to refine your strategies across over 200 unique tiles offering resources, strongholds, and tactical advantages.

Battles unfold in turn-based battles, where unit placement, hero stats, equipment, and over 20 unique troops with special abilities from each faction determine victory. The deck-building system determines which tiles you can place cards are earned in battle or purchased with gold, and shops only stock cards already in your deck, making each addition crucial. As you gather resources, construct buildings, and discover powerful synergies between tiles, your growing power provokes ever-increasing resistance from opposing faction heroes. The roguelike cycle structure encourages experimentation and mastery through high replayability, while artifacts and hero-specific abilities open up alternative paths to victory.
