About The Game

MINOS is a roguelite maze-building game where you play as the legendary Minotaur, defending his labyrinth from waves of glory-hungry adventurers. Instead of running through labyrinths, you design them yourself drag walls, gates, and corridors into custom configurations to trap and destroy intruders. The game blends action, strategy, and simulation: you create twisting, deadly traps or use rotating passages and sliding gates to confuse enemies. You can connect spikes, boulders, blades, and fire traps into devastating chain reactions triggered by pressure sensors, turning the heroes' confidence into fatal mistakes.

Each playthrough features different enemies and traps, ensuring no two encounters are the same. The roguelite structure allows for constant variety and adaptation as you perfect your deadly labyrinths. Beyond the gameplay, the plot explores the origins of the Minotaur and mythological figures like Daedalus and Theseus, questioning the true nature of the monster. Your choices determine the outcome when Theseus finally arrives for his legendary battle. The game inverts the traditional dungeon crawler formula, giving you control over the darkness that adventurers fear.
