About The Game

The Killing Stone, whose mechanics are based on occult rituals and card duels, immerses players in the dark atmosphere of the 17th century. The central element of the gameplay is the Altar of Fangelius, where a tactical battle for the salvation of souls unfolds. Instead of the usual exchange of blows, players must skillfully manipulate magical creatures and spells to reduce their opponent's health to zero. A reserve system, allowing players to accumulate unit strength for devastating attacks in subsequent turns, and a bargaining mechanic that influences the protagonist's stats add depth to the gameplay.

The storyline sends the hero, Maven, to a snowy estate to investigate the death of Mariken Svangard. To free the family from an ancient curse, they must challenge demons and the devil himself, known as One-Eye. The grim The Killing Stone allows players to customize their immersion with a choice of text styles, from authentic Old English to modern narration.
