About The Game

DRACU-RIOT is a Japanese visual novel adventure game developed by Yuzusoft, which won numerous awards upon its Japanese release for its exceptional art, music, and character design. The game's story takes place in Aqua Eden, a special administrative region an artificial island off the coast of Japan where casinos and other entertainment are legal. Protagonist Mutsura Yuuto arrives there expecting to simply relax with his friend, but on his first day, he witnesses a kidnapping.

After intervening in the crime, Yuuto unexpectedly becomes a vampire, which radically changes his life and drives him to the city limits. The game explores a futuristic, midnight metropolis where humans and vampires try to peacefully coexist, and Yuuto navigates his new undead existence among the moonlit streets. As a romantic visual novel from Yuzusoft, the game combines supernatural elements and relationship-building mechanics in an urban fantasy style. Players witness Yuuto's transformation from a reluctant hero to a vampire, adapting to the unique challenges of a utopian society. The narrative centers on how the protagonist, after a near-death experience, discovers his new nightlife in this experimental city.
