Tales of Berseria Remastered is a remaster of the 2016 RPG. The gist is this: if you've played it, there's a reason to return. If not, now's the perfect time. The main focus is on technical improvements. The game runs smoother, and the image is sharper for modern screens. It's not a remake, but the difference is noticeable. Further down the line, things get more complex. The most useful new feature is the ability to disable random battles. Simply pause the game and explore locations without constant skirmishes. Navigation markers are also added, which is very useful in the labyrinthine early locations.

Combat is more responsive. The system is the same: combine moves, collect enemy souls for enhanced attacks. But now there are no longer the usual delays; everything works as intended. Another important point is that the Grade Shop is now available from the very beginning. Previously, it was only accessible after completing the game. Now, you can spend in-game currency on useful perks, such as increasing your experience gain, from the very first hours.

The plot hasn't changed. It's the story of Velvet, a girl seeking revenge on a world governed by the dictatorship of rationalism. Other outcasts join her, each with their own motives. It becomes a brutal and emotional journey, where feelings collide with cold calculation. The game comes with all the additional content that was previously downloaded separately: costumes from previous installments, useful items. The Deluxe Edition will also include an artbook and soundtrack. Here's what's going on. In short: the game has become more user-friendly and technically more modern. The content remains the same a dark fairy tale with one of the most unique heroines in the series.
