About The Game

Dark Auction is a dark detective story set in 1981 Europe. The central figure of the story is 18-year-old Noah, forced to come to terms with his father's strange hobby. Leonardo, a failed writer, is obsessed with collecting artifacts related to the mysterious Dictator X. His father's sudden disappearance after receiving an invitation to a mysterious auction sets the stage for the story. Attempts to find his father lead the young man to an ancient castle, where he encounters shocking events and finds himself trapped along with other guests.

Finding himself locked in, the protagonist is forced to accept the rules of the sinister event. Surviving within the castle walls requires careful exploration of the surroundings and interaction with non-player characters to gather clues. All collected information is systematized using a special tool for subsequent analysis. This data becomes the key to success in the central event of Dark Auction. The main currency of the auction is memories, distorted by trauma and lies. Noah's job is to act as an assistant, reconstructing fragments of others' pasts to ensure bids are accepted. Each successful bid brings him closer to solving the mystery of Leonardo's disappearance.
