About The Game

Set in an icy wasteland in the distant future, Nova Antarctica presents the protagonist with the complex task of surviving in an extremely hostile environment. Successful overcoming of these challenges depends on the ability to withstand a range of threats, including fierce blizzards, abnormally low temperatures reaching -30 degrees Celsius, and radiation and viral contamination. A key element of the gameplay is restoring lost technology through crafting and constructing structures. Resource gathering and careful stamina management are key to successful progress through inhospitable lands.

The narrative centers on a lonely child who becomes humanity's last hope on a planet devastated by endless wars, pandemics, and climate catastrophes by the year 2900. The journey in Nova Antarctica takes place across a continent transformed beyond recognition, where new, bizarre ecosystems have formed. The protagonist must not only struggle for survival but also establish contact with the local fauna, which adds a unique narrative dimension and depth to the survival process.

The driving force behind the entire expedition is a mysterious signal transmitted from the South Pole, promising the availability of vital resources. Using an ancient map as a guide, the protagonist must reach the source of this signal to uncover its origin and purpose. The story unfolds nonlinearly, with the ending directly dependent on the decisions made and the relationships developed with the mysteries of the icy continent. This creates a deeply atmospheric and meditative adventure with an intimate, almost mystical feel.
