About The Game

TavernHold is a single-player strategy game that combines the daytime grind of tavern management with the nighttime grind of tower defense. You manage a roadside tavern, hiring workers to gather resources, build rooms and tables, serve travelers for gold, and repair defenses before nightfall. When night falls, station your workers on the walls to fire at enemies, while you man a massive ballista, using spike traps and strategic placement to prevent hordes of undead from breaching your gates if too many breach, it's game over. Each run features roguelike elements with random daily bonuses that increase in strength each day, forcing you to adapt your strategy.

Progress through a branching research tree to upgrade rooms for greater profit, strengthen your defenses, and unlock special types of arrows, such as explosive and ice bolts, for critical moments. The game allows you to shape enemy paths and design the battlefield layout, testing your tactical decisions during each siege. Every few nights, bosses emerge, leading powerful undead armies that require advanced defenses and careful resource management. Developed by Tevniyal Studios, the core game revolves around mastering the gather build maintain cycle during the day and surviving increasingly brutal sieges at night to save your tavern.
