About The Game

Big Hops is a 3D action platformer whose gameplay focuses on the protagonist's acrobatic abilities and interaction with the environment. Controlling Hop, a frog, requires mastering an advanced movement system that includes wall running, free climbing using stamina, and sliding. A key tool for overcoming obstacles is the universal tongue. It can be used not only to attract objects and activate various switches, but also to cling to ledges, traverse wide chasms, and interact with numerous mechanisms. A unique feature of the game is its path-creation mechanic. Progress in Big Hops depends directly on the creative use of special vegetables, which the protagonist carries in his backpack, to solve spatial puzzles.

The storyline centers on Hops forced journey, abducted from his home by a mysterious spirit named Diss. His main goal is to return to his family, which requires finding parts to build an airship. Meanwhile, Diss pursues his own goals, tasking Hop with collecting the mysterious Dark Drops. The search takes him through diverse and dangerous worlds, including the Red Desert, the Open Ocean, and the Shattered Mountain. Each of these locations offers its own story, unique characters, and local conflicts that need to be resolved.

To reach previously inaccessible areas, you must:

• Use mushrooms as trampolines to perform high jumps.
• Grow acorn stalks that create new routes for vertical ascent.
• Use cacti to stretch ropes across large gaps.
• Place apples as hooking points with your tongue.
