About The Game

Huntsman is a survival horror from OnTheHouse Studios, published by Ten Image Publishing, set inside a research facility that has been overrun by spiders. What was a place of clean corridors and humming machines is now a nest of webs and dark corners, and you have no shotgun, no chainsaw and no heroic way out. The spiders are the true stars here: the developers spent real effort on their behavior, so the creatures react to light, vibration and sound instead of following scripted paths. That single design decision changes everything, because an enemy that genuinely senses you cannot be memorized, only outsmarted. Released on November 27 2025, the game earned attention precisely because it treats its eight legged threat with respect rather than as cheap jump scare material. The setting stays grounded in ordinary working spaces, which makes the infestation feel uncomfortably plausible.

The gameplay is a patient game of nerves rather than action. You explore the facility room by room, manage a flashlight with limited power, read notes left by the staff and look for keys and tools that open deeper sections of the complex. Hiding spots, thrown objects and careful routing give you options that never feel overpowered. The power balance between man and spider never tips in your favor, and the game is brave enough to keep it that way. The result is a horror built on tension and observation, closer to a stalk than a shooter, and it works on a primal level for anyone who ever froze at the sight of a spider on the wall.
