About The Game

Primal Fray is a turn-based tactics game with roguelite elements, set on procedurally generated floating islands with a hexagonal grid. Achieving tactical superiority over opponents is the key to success in every encounter. Players must assemble a squad of unique primal creatures, collect empowering buffs, and execute deadly combos. Effective use of team synergy becomes the key to advancing through hostile environments. The ultimate goal of the journey is to uncover the secrets of the enigmatic Rift.

The foundation of the combat system is the intelligent management of your comrades' abilities. Each primal has four distinct abilities, each with varying strengths and uses, providing a total of over 200 skills. Primal Fray resource management system requires careful consideration, as some actions consume mana, while others, on the contrary, help accumulate it. The progression process is complicated by the need to make difficult decisions, such as deciding between adding a new fighter to your squad or restoring the health of your current squad.

For those who enjoy competitive battles, there's a local multiplayer mode where you can battle against another player. This format offers the freedom to create any composition of units for the duel. Fairness is ensured through the use of mirror maps, a fair fighter selection order, and a chess-like timer to limit turn time. A built-in editor adds further variety, allowing you to construct unique arenas for future battles, giving free rein to your imagination.
