About The Game

Verho Curse of Faces is a grim world bound by a deadly curse, where the mere sight of another's face brings instant death. This 264-year-long plague plunged humanity into the so-called Age of Solitude, forcing survivors to conceal their appearance. Masks became the only symbol of safety and survival, concealing identity and protecting against the deadly affliction. Travelers from all lands journey to Yariv, a misty land believed to be the source of this curse. As one of these adventurers, you must explore gloomy forests, abandoned wastelands, and dungeons to uncover the mystery of the curse.

Journeying through the lands of Yariv forces you to constantly fight for your life, using both brute force and magical spells. At the very beginning of your adventure in Verho Curse of Faces, you choose one of seven masks, which determines your starting stats and playstyle, whether you're a melee warrior or a powerful sorcerer. By defeating enemies, the hero gains experience, which can be spent to enhance specific stats at the Creator's statues scattered throughout the world. There's even a special ritual that allows you to destroy an old mask and completely redistribute skill points, opening up new development opportunities.
