About The Game

In Strange Antiquities, players take on the role of keeper of an occult shop. The establishment is located in the town of Undermere, a straddling the border between worlds. The proximity to the unknown affects the locals, who seek mysterious artifacts to solve their unusual problems. The central task is to help these customers, answering their specific and sometimes disturbing requests, born of life in such a strange place.

The gameplay of Strange Antiquities revolves around identifying artifacts and inventory management. Players must study items using deduction and illustrated reference books to properly catalog them. When interacting with powerful relics, decisions made directly impact the story. Choices can either help a visitor in their predicament or bring a curse upon them, and the townspeople remember their actions, changing their attitudes and shaping the story's ending.

What the Curator of Antiquities will do:

• Study and catalog mysterious relics using ancient tomes.
• Interact with the residents of Andermir, whose fates depend on the decisions you make.
• Explore the town's gloomy environs and uncover the secrets of the ancient building.
• Caring for Jupiter, the cat, who creates a cozy atmosphere amidst occult mysteries.

In addition to tending the counter, this game invites you to explore and investigate events in the surrounding area. Periodically, you'll have to leave the shop to investigate rumors or search for relics, using hand drawn maps of Andermir as your guide. The ancient building itself holds its own secrets and puzzles connected to its long history. Daily chores also include caring for Jupiter, the local cat, whose companionship brightens the mysterious atmosphere.
