About The Game

Overlooting brings together an alliance of three characters against a corrupting dark force. The group consists of Maximilian, a hero from a noble family, Liz, a wanted thief in many lands, and the Shadow, a mysterious being previously believed to be the source of corruption. Their main objective is to obtain equipment, managed through a roguelike inventory system. This structure ensures that each attempt to complete a mission presents the party with different conditions, changing the path to victory with each new game.

Progression of heroes is tied to finding items belonging to specific sets. Using enough pieces from a single set unlocks unique bonuses for the owner. In addition to equipment, Overlooting features a skill tree, procedurally generated for each new run. These abilities provide various effects, from general utility and power increases to specialized talents that enhance a specific character build. This system requires strategic adaptation to create powerful combinations.
