About The Game

Dice Gambit is a turn-based tactical video game based on the principles of tabletop role-playing games. The project's setting can be described as an alternative world reminiscent of the past of earthly Europe. The action takes place entirely in a giant city reminiscent of Renaissance Venice - water channels are everywhere, forcing people to use boats. The guards resemble knights, and power is held by a group of powerful families. Its representatives are constantly fighting for influence and intrigues have long become something commonplace. And one day, the main characters end up in this place.

The future of the city and its inhabitants depends on the decisions they make. The developers of the project have implemented a dice roll system that affects the outcome of the battle. Dice in Dice Gambit have 5 effects depending on which one the user gets, the hero will perform a certain action. For example, if the dice shows an attack symbol, the fighter will attack the enemy. If the defense rolls out, the protagonist will try to block the enemy's attack. And by collecting several dice together, the user will gain access to especially powerful skills. But this is compensated by the fact that all heroes have only one life. Any death will be final, so in case of failure, gamers will have to start the game over. This encourages careful consideration of tactics.
