About The Game

Ra Ra BOOM puts up to 4 players in a co-op battle on a future version of Earth. Here, a rogue AI commands legions of robots that have taken over the planet. It's up to a team of ninja cheerleaders to confront this mechanical threat. The gameplay combines beat em up and shoot em up elements. You'll have to break through hordes of enemies, moving through chaotic locations of a ruined world, from swamps to sewers.

The combat system in Ra Ra BOOM is based on lines, making it easy to strategically move and select targets. You can dodge enemy fire and precisely target opponents on multiple planes. The key mechanic allows you to instantly switch between melee attacks for close encounters and projectiles for distant enemies. Each of the four protagonists, Aris, Saida, Ren, and Vi, offers their own way of playing. Destroyed robots leave behind Scrap, a resource needed to develop the heroines.

This game is a narrative adventure with the fate of the planet at stake. The story is told with full voice acting across nine unique levels, including locations like abandoned amusement parks. Collected Scrap serves as currency to form a hit squad of four protagonists. This resource is used to select specific skills, allowing you to tailor the team's abilities to your preferred combat style. This customization system helps prepare each of the heroines for the challenges posed by the rogue AI and its forces.
