About The Game

Spy Drops puts the player in the role of a counter-terrorist operative tasked with neutralizing an eco-terrorist organization intent on erasing all of the world's digital records. The group's actions threaten to return society to the pre-digital era. As the missions progress, the operative begins to question his or her goals, uncovering a conspiracy that goes beyond the initial threat. The story revolves around themes of cyberterrorism and society's adaptation to new technologies, set in military bases, jungles, and deserts.

In Spy Drops, each mission requires infiltration behind enemy lines for covert actions, such as gathering intelligence or rescuing prisoners. Randomly generated mission plans provide unpredictable gameplay, as the enemy and objective layout changes with each playthrough. Players move through bases room by room, determining their own tactics for each situation. Options include hacking security systems, drone reconnaissance, or moving silently with special gear to evade security that reacts to sound and the character's shadow.

Before landing, the user selects equipment from the inventory, including night vision devices, tasers and mine detectors. For success in missions, the game awards experience, which is used to improve characteristics: health, endurance and aiming accuracy. The system encourages non-violent methods and maintaining stealth with additional points. Information is obtained from neutralized guards with the Dream Catcher device, making murder tactically disadvantageous. A local multiplayer mode is also available, allowing two gamers to compete directly.
