About The Game

Oxide Room 208 places 8 people in an old lab controlled by a figure named Doc. The heroes are forcibly connected to his Oxide experiment, a project with an unstable host named Eve. Her sanity failed, causing the experiment to create an organic environment that physically deforms the entire facility. This biomechanical setting, a combination motel and lab, has been the site of terrible acts in the past, and now the main goal for the captives is to find the door to 208 for survival.

The characters in Oxide Room 208 include an undercover officer, a cannibal and his fiancée, a rock musician, a half-naked man, and 2 streamers. Doc's research condemns their flesh to mutilation and their memories to be altered by the facility's inhabitants in order to hide his work. Some personalities have hidden motives beyond simple salvation, so trusting anyone is risky. After death, the hero can return as a revenant - a modified version of himself, meetings with whom should be avoided.

The player moves through 7 different locations: from a forest and an old mine to an underground laboratory, which became the site of a failed scientific experiment. These areas are inhabited by more than a dozen types of hostile creatures generated by chaos, and their intelligence allows them to relentlessly pursue anyone who catches their eye. The gameplay is based on the management of weapons and resources, offering a choice between clashes or finding workarounds. In this game, the perspective switches between first and third person, changing the perception of each moment.
