The Darkest Files Build 17844672

About The Game

The Darkest Files is a game set in Germany in 1956, ten years after the end of World War II. In the aftermath, the nation is divided, former Nazis live freely, and their victims are forgotten. As a prosecutor, the player must seek justice for those who can no longer speak for themselves. The story focuses on discovering hidden evidence, collecting scattered testimonies, and navigating the complexities of post-war society.

The player must track down key figures and meet witnesses to bring the perpetrators to justice. The challenge is not only to find the truth, but also to face the moral dilemmas and obstacles that come with working in a system that does not always support such efforts. Each decision and piece of evidence uncovered brings the player closer to achieving justice, although the path is often fraught with difficulties.

The Darkest Files offers a gripping experience in which the player’s actions and choices matter. The consequences of each decision can affect the course of the investigation and ultimately determine whether the perpetrators will be brought to justice. With its intricate plot, the game is a gripping look at the difficulties of bringing to justice those who have eluded justice for so long. It is a test of moral resolve, and the participant must decide whether he can bring himself to confront the painful truths of the past.
