About The Game

iDigging follows a down-on-his-luck protagonist who has lost his wife, job, and pretty much everything else to a nosy neighbor. The title drops you into a first-person sandbox where digging is the ticket to changing your life. But here’s the catch? The underground riches that are forbidden to dig belong to the state since someone got rich under their lawn. Naturally, your character says screw it and picks up a shovel. You’re not just digging for treasure, you’re digging your way to dignity, one shovel at a time.

Along the way in iDigging, you find metals, jewelry, and even random furniture to decorate your empty house. Each find fills your wallet and turns your shack into something livable, if not enviable. Meanwhile, your neighbor keeps an eye on you, ready to report you to the police at the first opportunity. Police often drive by, looking for traces of your illegal excavations.

You have to think quickly — cover the holes with camouflage carpets, upgrade your equipment or set a guard dog on the violators. Tools evolve from rusty shovels to drills and dynamite, allowing you to dig deeper and faster. Resources accumulate, and with them, risks: every blow of the pickaxe tempts fate. Co-op mode allows you to join the madness with up to five friends, turning solo intrigues into group work. Everyone can help — dig, hide or spy. The game is tense: you will have to contend with nosy neighbors, lawsuits and anticipation of the next big find.
