About The Game

UNDERWARD is a co-op horror game that challenges players to work together in a deadly underground hospital ward. Up to four players take on the roles of investigators tasked with extracting TEST-SUBJECT monsters from the depths of this abandoned facility. The objective is clear: carry the dangerous capsules to the elevator and escape, but the path is far from easy. Players will encounter unpredictable enemies, traps, and environmental hazards as they navigate the labyrinth. Cooperation is key, as some areas require teamwork to access, and carrying the heavy capsules containing TEST-SUBJECT is a multi-player task. As you explore, noise becomes an important factor in survival.

Some enemies are attracted to sounds, so moving carefully and hiding when necessary is vital. If an enemy spots you, you will need to think quickly and use quick reflexes. Throwing objects or using the environment will help you fight off your pursuers. In the midst of this chaos, communication with teammates is crucial. If a gamer falls, the team can try to save them, but time is running out and the risk of losing valuable progress is very high. The mechanics encourage users to adapt to different situations, always be on guard, and dive deeper into the unknown. In single-player mode, UNDERWARD becomes an even more intense challenge. Without a team, gamers must rely solely on stealth and strategy to avoid detection.
