About The Game

Squad is a military tactical first-person shooter. This is a multiplayer game with an emphasis on realism. An important role is given to team interaction between users. This project does not have a story campaign and single-player modes. Instead, players capture points, destroy weapons depots or hold defense. Initially, the title was called Project Reality. It was a modification for the second «Battle». Later, the game grew into a full-fledged separate product and was called Squad. The gameplay here is hardcore. The character can die from one hit. The interface does not display the number of rounds remaining in the clip. However, the creators went for some simplifications to make the game.

For example, here you can revive fallen comrades with the help of first aid kits and you cannot pick up enemy weapons of another class. There are many specializations in the project. Gamers can become squad leaders, snipers, simple shooters without optics, medics, grenade launchers, light anti-tanks. This FPS has large locations, because matches support up to 80 participants. There is military equipment that you can drive. Large-scale battles always involve 2 sides (usually these are the Americans-British and the rebels-militia), which are divided into small detachments.

Allied groups need to coordinate their actions with each other. Commanders can communicate with colleagues through separate radio channels and place marks on the map for everyone else. They can also mark places for the construction of command posts and respawn points. If the rest of the soldiers obey their orders and arm themselves with sapper shovels, they will be able to build defensive structures in the specified area. Both opposing forces have a reserve of points, which decreases with the death of soldiers, the loss of fortifications and combat vehicles. If a team loses all points, it loses. Matches last about 2 hours. If time runs out.
