Penkura combines several genres: action, adventure, RPG and strategy. Gamers find themselves in a unique world where they must survive and thrive in an alien environment. Here, they must gather resources, explore ancient ruins and build a base that will help them cope with the challenges ahead. The combination of different gameplay styles creates an atmosphere that requires strategic thinking and adaptation at every turn. When gamers arrive on Karenos, their first task is to build a base.

This is done from a top-down perspective, allowing for careful planning and resource management. Real-time strategy (RTS) elements come into play as users build structures, create the necessary bots and unlock new equipment that will help them navigate the alien terrain. This aspect of base building is central to the game, as it lays the foundation for survival in a world where every decision has consequences.
