About The Game

Death of the Reprobate puts you in control of the last surviving heir of the immortal John, who is on the brink of death. When you arrive to hear his dying wish, a number of possible paths are revealed to you. Will you seek revenge, overthrow the ruling elite, or simply fulfill his final request? Gameplay features a traditional point-and-click interface, where you interact with the world through a verb-coin interaction menu and a simple inventory system. As you explore lush landscapes and bustling cityscapes, you’ll encounter hundreds of paintings spanning centuries of Renaissance, Rococo, and Romantic artistic styles.

The game’s world is built entirely from these paintings, creating a unique and immersive environment. As you progress through the game, you’ll encounter a range of characters with their own motivations and desires, including the eponymous Reprobate. You’ll have to use your wits and collected items to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and progress through the story. Death of the Reprobate is a Rabelaisian point-and-click adventure game that offers a unique experience for players who appreciate Renaissance art and enjoy solving puzzles.
