About The Game

Flock jokes about alien abductions and builds the entire gameplay around this idea. This is an isometric puzzle game in which the user controls a UFO. A flying saucer steals farmers livestock. Everything happens in real time. There is a local co-op for two. Flock consists of 50 puzzles. Their number can be increased using the level editor. The selection of maze-like stages is carried out on the global map. The user’s task: pick up all the animals from the pens or pastures and bring them to the mother ship before the timer expires. Sometimes the game throws up additional humorous tasks. For example: make sheep mate to get more animals.

To bring animals from point A to B, you need to push them forward with a beam. However, it will not be possible to simply bring them to the right place. They will often be hindered by various obstacles. The maps are sandboxes, and the user receives a certain freedom of action on them. Large creatures can be made to get wet, after which they will shrink in size and be able to crawl through narrow passages. The aircraft is capable of moving stones, crushing fields, thereby paving the way, collecting wood and building bridges from wood, attracting and repelling certain objects.

The animals themselves differ in behavior depending on the type. Chickens are able to fly and crawl under fences. The sheep act lazy, but are afraid of the alien saucer. Cows slowly pick up speed, but after acceleration they are able to demolish some obstacles. Pigs love to roll and play in manure. To win, you need to correctly combine the characteristics of the animals and the abilities of the alien pilot. Gradually, the gameplay becomes more complex, and new mechanics appear in it along with obstacles.
