About The Game

Praetorians HD Remaster is an updated version of the 2003 RTS. The game was developed by the Torus Games team in collaboration with the original authors, the Pyro Studios team. Preateorians HD Remaster brings us back to the Roman Empire and gives us the goal of becoming an emperor. The game has three nations, the first of which, of course, is disciplined by the Romans, who use impressive military vehicles and complex military formations on the battlefield. The second is the Gauls, or fearless warriors with high mobility. The last place in the list is occupied by the Egyptians, who have enormous scientific and technical knowledge that can sacrifice everything in the name of the pharaoh.

In Praetorians HD Remaster, the action is aerial view. The essence of the game is that we have a limited number of units on more than twenty missions, and the ability to gain new ones is determined by the natural growth and the number of fame points that we have at our disposal at any given time. This forces us to skillfully manage our military resources and develop appropriate tactics taking into account the terrain (for example, archery is most effective when archers are on a hill), individual skills of individual subordinates, or, finally, the possibilities offered by various formations. It should be remembered that individual units are effective in battles with certain enemy forces.

It is worth noting that in addition to the aforementioned archers, pikemen, applicants and various military vehicles, such as rams or catapults, take part in the battles. Working on Praetorians HD Remaster, the authors improved the graphics and adapted it to high resolutions. In addition, the user interface and control system have also been improved.

How to Install

  1. Download the Full game Praetorians.HD.Remaster.MULTi11-PLAZA through torrent.
  2. Mount the Full ISO-image game in the «UltraISO».
  3. Install the game on you PC, wait for 100% installation.
  4. Download & install Update v1.02 / v1.03 / v1.04, in game folder.
  5. Copy the contents of the folder «PLAZA» to the folder with the game.
  6. Lock the game folder in the Windows firewall.
  7. Play!

    • Fixed bug which had HUD message spam after player left multiplayer session
    • Fixed tooltip on the command scroll when highlighting a village
    • Fixed issue where player is unable to invite friends to a private multiplayer session
    • Fixed issue where action icons don't display as activated
    • Fixed issue where the icons for Archers conflict with those for Spearmen
    • Fixed active mouse-wheel issue that would occur while hovering over the command scroll
    • Optimized wave effect for improved framerate

    General Fixes
    Fixed a crash when hovering over multi-troop health bar and the troop dies.
    Fixed a crash with video options screen not setting a correct index on the initial load of a game.
    Measures to avoid crashes, if a unit that is not intended to be on a wall, still getting on a wall.
    Fixed various stability issues.
    Fixed an issue where troops without a 'wall' formation were able to be loaded into an Assault Tower.
    Fixed an issue with the difficulty level appearing different to what it had been set.
    Fixed a flicker on the names during the ‘Skirmish complete’ screen.
    Fixed an issue with resolution options not saving.
    Fixed issue with volume settings not being saved.
    Fixed issue with camera movement when both mouse + controller is attached and a controller is assigned as Player 2, 3 or 4.
    Fixed an issue with backing out of the settings screen and new settings not saving.
     
    Multiplayer Fixes
    [Multiplayer] Fixed camera reset for all connected players when a player leaves multiplayer.
    [Multiplayer] Fixed clients not being notified of other clients disconnecting.
    [Multiplayer] When the host leaves a game, clients now receive a message that makes them automatically leave the game

    Updated engine version to Unreal 4.24.
    Added backspace functionality allow reversion to previously selected unit.
    Matchmaking screen now shows servers that are active and full in the list but does not make them joinable.
    Updated localized strings to fix some text issues.
    Code now checks whether a game or sequence save succeeded before saving the associated meta data to the primary profile save.
