Bug Fables The Everlasting Sapling — is an independent RPG game in which, guided by the fate of a team of insects, we go through a fictional Bugaria in search of a mysterious seedling designed to provide us with immortality. The responsibility for the game lies with the Moonsprout Games studio, and the game itself was funded on a crowdfunding platform. Somewhere in the heart of nature is a country of hidden treasures called the Bugarya. For many years, various species of insects and arachnids delved into it to find wealth and ancient relics. In addition, there are rumors that somewhere in this mysterious country there is a plant that has unique abilities, which can even bring immortality and many other useful efforts.

In the game, we control the fate of three adventurers of insects V, Kabbu and Leif, who decide to accept the challenge and go on a dangerous journey. Bug Fables consists of a thematic campaign, divided into seven chapters, during which we visit various locations. Among other things, the Kingdom of Ants, V’s house, vast deserts and breathtaking Golden Hills. The brave trinity, which does not always get along with each other, has many adventures in the form of solving various puzzles, fighting enemies and collecting prey.

The fight takes place in a turn-based system aimed at the correct execution of quick events in order to cause more damage. An important factor in the battle is also a system of weaknesses. Each insect in the team specializes in different types of attacks, which makes it more effective against other opponents. During fights, in addition to conducting an attack or defense, we can use items available in our inventory that can restore our lives or increase an attribute. They are useful in more complex battles and in boss battles there are fifteen in the game. We can get them during the adventure or make them ourselves by preparing a delicious dish from the purchased ingredients. For past fights and research, we get experience points in the form of medals that we can spend on improving the statistics of our characters and their skills.
