About The Game

A blight infected world, a blade in one hand, and death waiting for every mistake. Rogue Blight is a 2D souls inspired rogue lite from developer and publisher CodeRadGames, and it asks for skill and persistence above all else. The world is full of monsters, and every one of them is ready to prove it.

Combat is the heart of the game, and it borrows its weight from the Souls series. Every encounter is a matter of timing, spacing, and patience, and the enemies hit back hard. A bad step can end a long run in seconds, and the game never apologizes for it. The bosses are the peaks of each run, and they demand everything the player has learned. The maps change from run to run, and the layout follows a Slay the Spire style system where the player chooses the path through ever changing routes.

The arsenal is built around one handed weapons: swords, daggers, wands, or shields, with shields fitting the left hand only. Over 50 weapons wait in the world, each with a skill of its own, and any combination becomes a build. Status effects land on enemies and bosses alike: Bleed, Poison, Burn, Freeze, Shock, Choke, Shatter, Life Splash, Darkness, and Light Struck.

Between fights, the run grows through blessings, which are items that reshape the character build, and through character levels that unlock new weapons. What you find shapes what you can become, so no two runs build the same fighter. Death is punishing, and everything the player keeps is paid for in persistence.

For those who finish the story once, an endless New Game+ mode keeps the challenges climbing. Every new cycle sharpens the enemies and the player alike. Rogue Blight arrived on 03 September 2026 and is aimed at players who like their rogue lites harsh and their combat precise.
