Resident Evil 2 Remake — is not just a niche re-release of a cult game with redrawn graphics and new textures. Biohazard RE: 2 is a full-fledged, re-rebuilt Capcom media product on the new proprietary game engine RE-Engine. If it weren’t for the good old story, the game could be called a brand new product from Japanese developers in the Resident Evil franchise. With the graphic component, everything is clear — it is completely new, modern and pleasing to the eye. As for the game mechanics, it’s worth mentioning that all the standard gameplay elements inherent in the original sequel Resident Evila were completely redone in the manner of Biohazard 4 and Resident Evil 5.
