Combat Mission Cold War — is not just a sequel, but the opening of a new chapter in the Combat Mission wargame series. Several scenarios of a what if conflict between Soviet troops and NATO forces concentrated in the strategic area of the Fulda Gorge and its environs in West Germany are simulated. One and a half dozen scenarios on the battlefield are to be developed. In the game, the military equipment of both sides of those years is presented quite realistically.
