Heidelberg 1693 — is a cool 2D side-scrolling action game that invites players to travel back to the 17th century and fight numerous ghouls and monsters as a common musketeer. The game takes place in France in the 17th century, when information appeared about the existence of an illegitimate relative of Louis XIV, who decided at all costs to conquer the world and, first of all, France. Moreover, he decided to do this with the help of «dark magic», giving birth to a bunch of undead, monsters, ghouls and other evil spirits. You also need to put an end to his deeds and in the role of a musketeer save France from invasion.The gameplay of Heidelberg 1693 is based on the simplest mechanics, but at the same time it is impressive in variety. It is based on three essential elements. First and foremost, these are battles with numerous minions of the «moon king», the very illegitimate one. Among them are ghouls, and various zombies and infected, and undead, and huge boss monsters. You will have to fight with them everything that comes to hand, and in particular, shooting from a musket and killing enemies with a sword.
The second point is the study of the surrounding world and the solution of simple physical puzzles. As you explore locations, you will find useful items that will be useful to you in the future.
