About The Game

Epicinium — is a multiplayer turn-based strategy game in which players influence the environment. Battles destroy grass and crops, and when tanks move towards the enemy base, trees break. Industry is accelerating global warming to sky-high levels, thereby causing more and more destructive natural disasters. At the end of the game, the winner gets points for how much grass and forest is left on the map. Each turn consists of a planning phase, where all players decide what orders they want to give to their units, an action phase, where players watch their orders play out.

Your units will automatically attack enemy units if they collide with them; they will also open fire and attack any unit that tries to flee the battlefield. Some units have abilities that allow them to bombard cells, randomly damaging everyone who is there. The main key to success is to correctly predict the actions of the enemy.

Between rounds, seasonal changes caused by global warming can lead to new weather effects such as snow, drought, or firestorms. At night, buildings bring you the local currency — energy. Cities only get it if they are surrounded by enough grass, forest, water and crops, but over time, more barracks and industrial zones grow around the city, which deprive you of natural resources.
