About The Game

PSI Pressure Climbing is a movement based climbing adventure from the independent developer Lorenzo Ametrano, published by Book Club Games. The story sends the player on a desperate suicide mission to save an amphibian cargo cult that worships the machines of a vast industrial underworld. Your task is to scale the towering walls of an underground hydropower grid using a jetpack, precise timing, and raw momentum. Along the way you enter loot caves filled with obstacles, puzzles, and hazards, and every item matters because the inventory space is strictly limited. The whole climb is a race against the clock: your people are running out of hope, and only the discovery of what lies beyond this industrial cosmos can save them. The project launched in late September 2026 and continues to grow through an active development stage. Book Club Games publishes the project and supports it with regular updates.

The gameplay is built entirely around vertical movement and risk management. You carve a path up the shafts of a huge power station, learning its geometry, chaining jetpack bursts, and planning rests on narrow ledges. The caves scattered along the route hide scrap that can be crafted into climbing upgrades, so choosing what to carry becomes a tactical decision rather than a simple grab everything run. Each cavern has its own puzzle and its own set of dangers, from shifting machinery to long vertical gaps that punish careless fuel use. Among the most interesting features are the limited inventory system, the scrap crafting chain, the puzzle caves hidden inside the walls, and the constant pressure of the countdown that pushes you to keep moving upward instead of camping on a safe platform. There is no map of the whole grid, so route knowledge becomes a skill of its own: fallen machines, broken catwalks, and flooded lower decks all double as landmarks on later climbs.
