About The Game

Created by indie developer Jack Li as a simulation with a strong comedic streak, Shopping Cart Pusher asks one simple question: how hard can it be to push a shopping cart through a giant mall? The answer turns out to be extremely hard, because the carts obey honest physics with weight, friction and inertia, and the controls are deliberately awkward by design. Somewhere across the floors, corridors and back halls fifty carts are hidden, and your goal is to find every one of them, push it through the building and bring it back in one piece while the whole mall conspires against you. What starts as a harmless errand gradually grows into a ridiculous survival story about a man, a metal basket and the unwillingness of the world to cooperate.

The gameplay revolves around pure physics comedy. Every cart behaves like a heavy stubborn object on tiny wheels: it drifts sideways, it overturns on ramps, it gains terrifying speed on slopes and it refuses to turn exactly when you need it most. Visitors, shelves, escalators and pillars become constant obstacles, and special opponents patrol the halls, including Hot Dog Man, French Fries Man and a Fishing Guy who strikes together with a shark. Money earned from delivered carts can be spent on weapons and upgrades, which slowly turns the peaceful shopping trip into controlled chaos. Among the most memorable features are the fifty hidden cart locations that reward thorough exploration, the escalating roster of absurd enemies and the way one simple chore becomes a full campaign. Players who enjoy janky physics sandboxes will find plenty of laughs in losing a cart off an escalator, chasing it across three floors and finally parking it with the dignity of a man who has seen everything. The project was released on September 27, 2026, and the simple premise hides a surprisingly long campaign for stubborn players.
