About The Game

Breakout Garage is an open world racing simulator built by just two independent developers under the banner of Breakout Studio. The action takes place in small town Texas, where the smell of gasoline and old American steel defines the mood of every evening. The game celebrates classic rear wheel muscle cars and hands the player a garage in which each vehicle can be assembled from scratch according to personal taste. Races come in several flavors, from midnight street drag duels and official drag events to oval circuits, and each format demands its own build, setup, and driving style. The project continues to develop in early access, growing together with its community of motorsport fans.

The gameplay is built around one of the deepest car construction systems in the genre. Every installed part influences real physics, including weight, aerodynamics, the center of mass, engine compression ratio, displacement, and inertia, while simulated engine thermodynamics rewards drivers who understand their machine. Combinations of parts let each car be tuned precisely for drag strips, ovals, or relaxed cruising, and cosmetic customization gives the build its own face. Driving uses honest simulator physics with toggleable aids such as traction control, antilock brakes, and electronic stability, so both hardcore pilots and casual players find a comfortable level. A first person mechanic mode turns repairs and tuning into a hands on ritual, and peer to peer multiplayer lets friends host or join servers with a built in race lobby for challenging each other directly. Between races the open world invites slow cruises through Texan landscapes, which makes this two person project feel surprisingly complete for an early access release. Sound and visuals support the workshop atmosphere, from the rattle of a cold engine start to sunset reflections on polished paint, and the open roads of Texas connect garages, race spots, and quiet viewpoints into one cruising playground.
