About The Game

The supply chain starts at the end of a sword. Fell and Sell is a shopkeeping roguelike from Art Games Studio S.A., which develops and publishes the game, dropping you into a gorgeous stylized fantasy world as its most ambitious merchant. Your shelves need stock, and the only wholesaler available is a descending dungeon full of things that object.

The loop splits your day in two. Above, you run the store; below, you fight for the goods. The fast paced 3D first person hack and slash action takes you through the depths behind the shop, and business success relies just as much on how hard you can swing a sword and how fast you can run as on your trading skills. Every inventory slot costs blood, sweat, and steel.

The dungeon teaches its own etiquette. Study the sacred tenets of survival, manage your risks room by room, and bring back whatever the shelves are missing. The dungeon keeps receipts. Each descent is a wager with real merchandise on the line, and the walk back to the counter with a full pack is the payoff the whole game is built around.

Back upstairs, commerce takes over. You forge shop fixtures, arrange the floor, and ruthlessly price your way to the top of the market. A well priced shelf sells itself, and the economy of the store mirrors every risk you took below. What survives the dungeon becomes what the town buys.

Few hybrids wear both hats this comfortably. The retail fantasy and the crawl feed each other without either half feeling bolted on, and the stylized art keeps the whole enterprise charming. Profit has a smell. Fell and Sell is a management action game for players who know that the bravest person in any fantasy town is the one who sets the prices.
