About The Game

Rustbound is a management RPG about rebuilding civilization, developed and published by Wylde Wisp Games. The old world is gone, cities lie beneath vines and nature has reclaimed what humanity left behind, but the story does not end there.

You start with a single abandoned outpost. From that small base you recruit survivors, build specialized workshops and turn forgotten scrap into a thriving settlement. Every workshop, every trade and every expedition brings the community closer to rebuilding something worth protecting. Progress is visible in the streets, the smoke and the growing number of busy hands.

Crafting is deep. The game includes hundreds of weapons, tools, clothing, gadgets, accessories and trade goods, all made from reclaimed technology, natural resources and recovered materials. Blueprints and workshop upgrades expand what you can produce, and each new recipe opens another path for the settlement. Scrap that looked worthless in the morning becomes equipment by the evening.

The economy needs real management. A thriving settlement needs customers as much as crafters. You set prices, manage inventory, fulfill requests and watch how supply and demand shape the marketplace. Experimenting with pricing and balancing production costs is what turns a camp into a trading network, and the network in turn supports the next stage of expansion.

People matter as much as machines. The wasteland is full of talented survivors looking for a place to belong. Specialists like Scrappers, Outriders, Patchers and Mechanists each unlock new workshops, recipes and professions, so the roster you gather decides which direction the settlement can grow. Every skilled pair of hands changes what the community is capable of.

The tone is hopeful rather than grim. Ruins become homes, rust becomes equipment, and progress is measured in the community you build. The current version is Build 24278195, a full release.
