About The Game

Sister Other Paranoia is a psychological horror in the form of a traditional visual novel from developer HazeDenki, published by Serenity Forge. The release took place on August 15, 2026 and the project mixes anime aesthetics with a dark mature narrative.

The story follows Hasuya, a literature student who gains the ability to read the emotions of people around him. The gift lets him see the dark side of others, and this burden slowly isolates him from the world. He retreats into a small room together with his talented younger sister Sahana. The two form a painful and destructive codependency, where every shared hour deepens the tension between them.

The unexpected success of the light novel written by Hasuya only makes things worse. The literary award he receives awakens envy among acquaintances and finally breaks his trust in society. The narrative is built around deep interpersonal conflicts of eight characters across five story scenarios. Four different endings wait at the end of the road, and each route reveals a new layer of the same tragedy.

Gameplay follows the classic visual novel pattern. The player reads text blocks and constantly makes meaningful dialogue choices. Each decision directly affects the mental state of the protagonist. The telepathic skill becomes an active tool of influence. Gained tension allows detecting hidden complexes of opponents and pushing rivals toward fatal decisions. Every conversation can change the balance of power between the characters.

The audiovisual side underlines the suffocating atmosphere of mental decay and the retro dempa aesthetic of the genre. The project contains 20 graphic illustrations and a soundtrack with 14 energetic electronic compositions in anime style. On Steam the game holds a Very Positive rating based on the first wave of player reviews.
