About The Game

Duskfade is a 3D action adventure platformer from developer Weird Beluga, published by Fireshine Games. This build brings the latest version of the game, ready to run after installation. The story follows a young man named Zirian who sets out to save his sister from a creature called Despair.

The world of the game has lost its sun. Endless cold night has covered the land, and time itself has been broken. Zirian travels through wild jungles and sandy dunes toward the legendary Clock Tower, the only place that can fix what was broken. He is joined by Cuckoo, a loyal mechanical bird that stays with him during the whole journey. Every step forward brings the pair closer to the tower and deeper into danger.

Gameplay mixes platforming with combat. You cross deadly obstacles, jump between floating platforms, and fight ink colored monsters that stand in your way. The battles are fast, and the movement keeps you moving forward at all times. Each area introduces new threats and new ways to use your skills, so the pace never drops. Learning the timing of enemy attacks is the key to surviving the later zones.

The team made the game by hand, without AI generated assets. The art direction draws from the golden age of console platformers from the 2000s, which gives the world a familiar but fresh look. A full playthrough takes between 15 and 20 hours, and the story is told through careful exploration and well placed moments of narration. Fans of thoughtful storytelling will find plenty of detail hidden across the map.
