About The Game

Fog of War Book Two is a sci-fi Adventure and Visual Novel game developed and published by Story Machine Studios. The story follows Rex Richards, a retired Delta Force operator who is trying to find a new path after the war. The second book continues his journey through a web of intrigue and danger that surrounds his new life.

Rex starts a new chapter connected to the R. Winters Medical University, but the peaceful plan does not last. He is drawn into a hidden conflict that threatens both his own life and the lives of people close to him. Survival in this world depends on his combat training and the medical intuition he built over years of service, and both sides of his past come back at the worst moments.

Freedom of choice stays at the center of the experience. Each situation can be approached in several ways, from lethal and non lethal tactics to hacking skills and stealth methods. Interrogating informants, bribing contacts and using the environment are all valid routes, and the story reacts to the chosen approach. No single solution fits every scene, so the player keeps shifting between direct action and careful planning.

The protagonist has an exceptional eidetic memory that works as a gameplay advantage. Recalling past missions gives insight into current problems and reveals hidden clues, which offers alternative solutions to the obstacles along the way.
