About The Game

ZEPHON The Syncretic and The Imperious asks a simple question. What does it take to survive in a world where humanity has already lost, and the only choices left are between assimilation or oppression. This 2026 strategy RPG DLC from Proxy Studios challenges you to master two extreme ideologies. The Syncretic believe that merging all life into a single consciousness is the only way to endure. Their units are cheap and expendable, but they require constant biomass to grow. The Imperious counter that only absolute discipline and technological superiority can hold back the apocalypse. Their units are powerful but expensive, and their society fractures easily without ruthless leadership.

The latest version of the expansion introduces a dynamic event system where random crises, such as a plague or a robot uprising, force you to adapt your strategy on the fly. Strategy is about balancing short term gains against long‑term stability, as each faction has unique weaknesses that enemies can exploit. RPG progression allows you to customize your leader with perks that reflect your playstyle, such as biomass efficiency for the Syncretic or propaganda mastery for the Imperious. The expansion also includes new multiplayer maps and a cooperative mode where two players can team up as the two new factions against AI enemies.
