About The Game

A Nice Day for Fishing begins when fisherman Baylin takes on the role of adventurer after the heroes of Azerim disappear. A mysterious force threatens the lands of Azerim, forcing Baylin to defend Honeywood using his fishing skills. Players must battle aquatic creatures using well-timed actions and magical enchantments, improve their skills, and work to restore the settlement. The events of A Nice Day for Fishing unfold throughout Azerim, allowing players to explore both its landmasses and underwater world.

Exploration leads players from Honeywood Forest to the coast of Azerim, revealing new quests, characters in need of assistance, and various species of fish to catch. Underwater currents influence the movement of the hook to hidden caves, and improved fishing line allows you to penetrate deep and uncharted waters. Balin's equipment serves several functions: his fishing rod serves as a weapon, his boat as a means of transportation, and his hat as a protection.

Gameplay involves using special-purpose hooks, such as a magnet for retrieving sunken objects or a drill for carving new paths through cave walls. Upgrading his fishing rod increases the protagonist's strength; upgrading his fishing line helps catch certain fish that actively resist and hide in the unlit depths. During his travels, he must collect resources from sunken ships to restore the ruined buildings of Honeywood. The Woodcutter character assists in this endeavor.
