About The Game
Stronghold Crusader Definitive Edition: Baldwin and Bullseye delivers the most character‑driven expansion in the series’ history, pitting two radically different commanders against the harsh realities of the desert war. Developed by Firefly Studios for 2026, this strategy building RTS simulation DLC is a love letter to fans who demanded more personality and tactical variety. Baldwin, the Leper King, builds towering stone keeps, inspires peasant loyalty, and slowly grinds down enemies through attrition. Bullseye, the rogue sharpshooter, favors wooden outposts, ambush tactics, and a mobile band of outlaws who strike fast and vanish into the dunes. The latest version of the expansion includes a full voice‑over for both heroes, with unique barks and mission briefings.
Tower defense and open world exploration are deepened by new environmental hazards like sandstorms that reduce visibility and shifting oasis locations. The expansion introduces a Heroic Feats system, where completing optional objectives during missions unlocks permanent bonuses for your castle in subsequent skirmishes. In multiplayer, you can now play as Baldwin or Bullseye in ranked matches, with their unique unit rosters changing the meta. The DLC also includes an enhanced map editor with new Aztec and Crusader asset packs.
