About The Game

The Floor Above is an anomalous horror game in which the protagonist awakens tied to a chair inside a looping room. Movement is limited to turns and rare actions, and reality constantly falters. With each loop, the room repeats, but appears to be on the floor above, creating the sensation of an endless ascent with no escape. The core of the interaction boils down to recognizing anomalies, where you must distinguish reality from illusion.

By blinking, you can check whether a strange object disappears or remains in place. A decision is made instantly: confirm the norm or acknowledge the threat. An error breaks the chain of progress and resets the loop. Repetitions gradually alter the perception of what is happening, adding new details and causing you to doubt even the obvious. Voices intervene, guiding or confusing. With each new playthrough, additional story elements are revealed, but the goal remains the same: make a series of precise decisions and escape the loop.
